Custom dog bed
I made this dog bed cover a few weeks ago for a special dog. I have never made one before and so was a slight bit nervous about it but it turned out great. It was a fairly big size 50 by 70. I am very happy about how it turned out and I think the dog and owner are just as happy. I used home decor fabric so that if the dog played rough or over time it would not wear out as fast as cotton. The side had a 48" zipper in it that took some time but other than that it was very easy!

Graduation cake pops
We made these cake pops this past weekend. A cake pop is essentially frosting mixed together with a cake. We used a box cake mix just to save time and canned frosting. The cap is made from Wilton candy melts that are melted and then hardened. The tassel is just a fruit chew that has been sliced.
The caps before going on the cake pop.
Before being dipped in chocolate!
Almost there!
The finished product. We then put them in little wrappers to keep them fresh.

Almost done quilt project!
My sister made this quilt several months ago and it just has to be quilted and then the binding has to go on. It was made from scraps except for the back and batting. The pattern she made up herself.

Tote Bag total of 5!
I made five of these tote bags last weekend. Yes five! It was time consuming but fun at the same time. I did it so that I did the same thing five times and then would move on and do something else five more times. This went on for about 7 hours! Yes that does seem like a long time but mind you every piece that I cut out has to also be cut out in interfacing.
