Garden Flowers

We always have such wonderful flowers in the front yard! I do not know what the secrect is except they hardly ever get attention! For some reason though this year none of our hanging baskets did to well. I don't know if it's because it got over 90 degrees in the middle of august and then has not come down on the temperature during the day since!

Just 10 days late!

9/11 Not Forgotten

It is hard to belive that yes it has been 10 years. It seems like it happend sooner but yet in the same sense so long ago. I woke up this morning with a slight bit of saddness. I also woke up this morning thankful for freedom. Thankful for the brave men and women who defend it every day.

Garden Harvest!

The garden has been very abundant this year! We have had absolutely no trouble with the zucchini and have had so many tomatoes. The zucchini seriously never got any attention! It got watered maybe once a week and never fertilized. The first few pictures are from last sunday in August and the rest were from yesterday. I have never seen so much garden zucchini! It does make very good bread and muffins though!

                                                              I made a total of 9!!
