Reminder that summer is coming!

We bought these flowers for my mom and I do have to say they were very pretty. I just love sunflowers as they remind me that each day you should smile even if it is just over one thing.

Spring should be here

Last week it snowed about 3 inches! It was just a few days after the first official day of spring. Anyway I ended up getting some neat pictures of the flowers poking out with snow on them.

Catching up and more!

Just some pictures of recent projects! I have been venturing out and trying to sew different things besides my usual bags. I do enjoy sewing the bags though as I have the pattern memorized. So sewing other things is a good brain stretcher!  On a side note I think spring might finally be here! The flowers are starting to bloom and the trees are starting to bud!

New Venture

I have always enjoyed sewing so recently I decided to try something new! I started making cloth diapers and wet bags to go with them covers and extra soakers. Then I began to wonder what I would do with them! Hyena cart came to the rescue! I opened a hyena cart account and now I wait! Here are some pictures on what I have been making. I still have my etsy shop and plan to switch it over to checkbook covers, coin pouches and purses of all sorts! On a side note we have been experiencing some electrical difficulties. Woke up last Thursday morning and half of the house lights did not come on. Needless to say they have since fixed the problem and thing seem to be running smoothly! It was kind of touch and go for a few days as we were running on power from a backup device!
